Scott Alan Burroughs, Esq. is an attorney, writer, and advocate. For almost 20 years, he has been battling for artists' rights in courts worldwide. During that time, he has been fortunate enough to handle numerous important copyright cases and create new law on cutting-edge art law issues.
Before law school, Mr. Burroughs worked as a writer. As his legal career progressed, he toiled for studios and agencies including Sony Pictures Entertainment and SFX. After transitioning to litigation, where he felt he could have a greater impact on artists' rights, Burroughs was selected as a California Rising Star for the years 2015-2019 by Los Angeles Magazine and Super Lawyers. Since expanding his practice to New York, where he now manages his firm's office, he has been selected as a New York Super Lawyer for the years 2021-2023.
